The winter weather makes painting outside somewhat unattractive, and as a result I have been spending more time working in the studio. One outcome is a series of still life paintings, which can be found on a new page dedicated to that genre. I’m hoping the weather will eventually improve and I can get out and about again.
I am pleased to announce that I have had my large watercolour ‘Clearing showers, Rydal Water’ accepted for exhibition at the prestigious Harley Gallery Open, Welbeck. New work has been added to the portfolio page which includes my latest paintings in the depiction of the Coast to Coast Walk that I completed in September 2019, and also the first landscapes painted en plein air around Hoe Grange during the covid lockdown.05-07-2020
