Recent success – 2

Success at Buxton was followed by notification that my painting ‘Wolfscote Dale from Gipsy Bank’ has been selected for the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition.  The exhibition will take place at the Mall Galleries in London from 14-19 September, and then a selection of the work will be exhibited at Castle Fine Art in Birmingham and the Guildford House Gallery.

Recent Success 1

June brought good news when my watercolour ‘Out of the mist’ was awarded a commendation at the Derbyshire Open Art Exhibition.  The show continues at the Buxton Museum and Art Gallery.  Well worth a visit.

Tissington Well Dressings

Tissington’s renowned well dressings start on Thursday 14 May and I will be there with my annual exhibition of work. Please note the venue has changed from that previously advertised and can now be found at Chapel Lane, near to Hand’s Well – this is where I first started exhibiting at Tissington all those years ago.  For those with a sweet tooth, a little further along the lane can be found Edward & Vintage with a huge range of old-fashioned sweeties and well worth a visit! Let’s hope the weather is favourable.
