I was delighted to learn that my large watercolour painting, ‘The Pennine Bridleway near Hayfield’, had been selected for the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition. The exhibition is on at the Mall Galleries in London from 18 to 23 September 2018, before going on tour to the Guildford House Gallery from 10 November to 20 December 2018 and the Sainsbury Gallery, Willis Museum, Basingstoke from 12 January to 27 March 2019.
My large watercolour ‘Fin Cop, Derbyshire’, has been selected for this prestigious London exhibition. The view of the ancient hill fort standing above the River Wye was spotted whilst on a Peak District Artisans members walk. Several return trips were required to finalise the composition and before completion of the painting.
17-03-2024I will be exhibiting original paintings, prints and cards with other members of Peak District Artisans in the Stables Shop at Chatsworth House. The house and gardens are closed, but the cafe will be open. Free parking!
